History sure does repeat it's self!! 90's flow.....

Hey everyone! I know it been awhile with the lack of updates, but I have been super busy. I just wanted to come to you guys real quick with a fashion post. As I have been checking out today's latest fashion in the Hip Hop culture. I have took notice that today's generation for the males it have seem they went back in time and grab some things from the 90's era. One popular look in particular is the "Spike Lee" look from the old Jordan commercials Young artist such as Chris Brown and Lil Wayne are famous for wearing the big squared glasses with the Brooklyn hat or any hat lid flipped up while showing their forehead. Unlike older rappers who still wear their hats  to the front or tilt to the side. Also the 90's hairstyles are coming back as well such as the Kwame blonde patch that Wiz Khalif sports and the gumby haircut inspired by 2pac that Soulja Boy rocked during his promotion for his mixtape "Juice".

To me I really it is cool that the fashion history is repeating it self. I think the young generation is doing good by showing hip hop and it's roots and showing the transition from the 80's style that was just popular not to long ago to what is now the 90's style. Hmm,I wonder if this generation goes through the whole 90's era will they rock the mid 90's look such as the baggy jeans again, Ski google on the forehead with ski jackets,Or maybe the girls will wear mini backpacks like  Brandy did in the Moesha days lol. We shall see huh?  Well all I can say history repeat it self lol. Click to  see some of  the influences from the 90's..

Beyonce' 4 Review....

Yesterday finally Beyonce' CD entitled "4" has hit the market! I haven't purchase the CD yet,but I did get a chance to take a listen to her CD on her website http://www.beyonceonline.com/  and listen to all of her tracks. I have to say I really enjoy this CD. It gives me alot of international soundscapes and old school new jack 90's swing with female R&B group grooves. There are a couple of songs I dig the most and that are I CARE, Best Thing I Never Had, Party (featuring Andre 3000), Love On Top, End Of Time and of course my favorite COUNTDOWN ( love how she use the Boys II Men sample)! Of course, I love Who Run The World (Girls),but they play it so much now its like oooookay I wanna listen to something new now.

I really enjoy this CD and glad Beyonce' took a new turn with music. Not what everyone expected from her with the whole urban feel. She went south with the international sound and that is alright with me. Especially being a fan of hers. I can't wait for the concert which I know that not going start into next year after she promote this CD and do all the interview and gives the radio more singles.

So, if you wanna know is this CD worth it... I say YES! I give it two thumbs up!! You can go pick it up at your local Best Buy, Walmart or FYI. If you want the Bonus Editon of Beyonce's "4" CD you can go to Target :)
